Photographer's Note
Just a simple street scene. I guess I was attracted to the girl, so sleek in that coat, it made me think of a lepoard and its spots.

Your right, the coat makes the shot, and a neat way you draw ou attention to it with the slow shutter blurr the other passers by. Is this a tracking shot, that couple seem much sharper than they would be otherwise.

What a great street shot this is. I guess you were also crossing that zebra. It is funny but in Australian they don’t use the term. I like the way you managed the DOF and also the crop. It shows how close you were to the girl. As usual, the B&W is very good. Well done.

gra, w zasadzie zabawa roznymi "patterns", w domieszka rozmycia...hmmm... poszukujesz wciaz nowych rzeczy, to dobrze...
ciekawe to zdjecie, nie jakis powalacz, ale jednak ciekawe (bardzo)... zauwazylem ostatnio coraz smielsze przymiarki wielu osob to fotografowania "plecow", czasami moze to byc ciekawe, jak widac....

Horizontal stripes on the ground, horizontal stripes on the building, people in motion who can come and go without disturbing those stripes , and that coat that catches the eye and that seem to be THE element disturbing the established horizontal geometry of the place.
Really an efficient effect.

Witaj Rafale,
Technicznie bez zarzutu.
Pozdrawiam,
Jurek

Podoba mi się rozjechana dynamika no i wzorki, jak najbardziej. No i ulubiony motyw - zebra. Pozdrawiam.

Hi Rafal, yes ...this coat seems leopard...i agree with you...
I like the composition and the repetition of the lines on the streets and on the building..
It is a scene dynamic, but with a subject clear..
ciao!

Hi Rafal
I really like the motion blur, all around the couple. Nice juxtapositioning of the 2 very different styles. Well titled, too. Tfs!

I like this one, Rafal (somehow the previous one from the subway didn't speak to me on any level, sorry). This one here is very nice; first of all the chequered coat on the zebra crossing is a well-seen graphical ensemble, and I also like how the motion blur increases towards the image's borders. The well-contrasted b&w feels very natural and judicious on this one.

Hi Rafal
interesting title for this image. the blur is really well managed as the main subject's really sharp, good control of shutter. also I like how the two's near the center and letting the 'flow' going past either side. very nicely done.
Best regards

Is this a forward panning or what? The effect is amazing. For you it may be simple, but I never seen nothing like this.

Hey Jinju, captivating image in many respects but I am really drawn in by the forward motion. If anything a great effect stimulating the speed of life in Seoul. Take care, Ben.

What to me makes this shot, Rafal, is the motion blur, we are in speed here and the girl, your "leopard girl" really stands out from the crowd. Reminds me of 1960s French movies... perhaps Truffeaut?

Hi Rafal, I like the sharp main subject mixed with the subjects in motion and blur on both sides. The lines of the building on the right and the no entry sign on left somehow frame it nicely on the sides. And yet, and knowing you are a perfectionist, something disturbs me, maybe too centered, maybe the cut of her right leg. Or maybe just the strange feeling that the viewer is about to grab her handbag and run. Regards, Daniel

Its more than just the coat, to me its the way youve got the two people in front of you so sharply, yet the others are all in a blur. A great looking effect that would be hard for most people to pull off.

Hi Rafal - it's good, very dynamic, lots of motion implied by the blur on either side of your manin subject. It may appear 'simple' but I'm wondering just how you took this one (were you moving as well?).

URBAN pictures !!!!
It's always nice to see urban photographs like this one.
Great compo. I really like the way you caught the motion in the people and it was a great idea to take in BW format.
TFS
have a nice day

Hi Rafal,
For you it may be simple, but this is your trade mark, I'm no BW photographer. Also the attire of the people gives great different against the attire in Europe, thanks for your visit at my picture.
Have a nice day,
John.

Hello Rafal,
This coat catch eyes !
Your PP emphasizes it nicely, and the blur on the picture corners is a dynamic element.
A nice one,
JB.

Hi Rafal,
nice scene and mood. Here you've catched the essence of B/W... the black and white pixels. Wonderful shot.
Have a nice day,

.......this could get kind of spooky....the innocent looking human predator......in amongst the herd...she stands out so much that stealth must mean something else in human terms - at first I was drawn to this more than I am now.......it caught me and then my thoughts went into a more critical mode....I'm not sure if I don't want to see a wider view - perhaps it is a matter of personal preference at the moment .....like the dinosaur yeasterday - I'm always thinking of the print scale image ........I can engage a story here but I'm retreating and I can't quite put my finger on why......
I'll be back
...these two certainly stand out from the crowd......it's strange to have such an initial excitment only to lose it....now I have more considered view...the figure who is seen looking through the gap between the other couple who are in focus as they walk away seems to have spotted the woman..actually more likely you......but that glance is a little bit of gold to me...........
