Since its opening in the historic city of Gyeongju 20 years ago, Wonpung Sikdang (restaurant) has served local specialities.
A single meal consists of at least 30 basic side dishes, and may be ordered to include extra dishes such as bulgogi (thin-sliced marinated beef grilled on a brazier), pajeon (green onion pancake) and muneo-dechim (octopus scalded in boiling water).
Moreover, run in a big traditional hanok (Korean traditional house), the restaurant offers a glimpse of traditional dining and lifestyle.
Bordering the neighborhood of Hwangnam, it is a beautiful traditional house, equipped with large kitchens and small dining rooms arranged around a courtyard.
An address known for its great "hanjeongsik" ​​(banquet table).
