Another shot from yesterdays trip to the Hindu Festival of Thaipusam.

Here we have another participant who is making his offering by carrying the Kavadi, a large metal framed structure adorned with colored flowers, ribbons, and offerings that is connected and supported (in large part) by hooks and skewers through his flesh.
He was patiently awaiting for the helpers to come around and relieve him of the heavy weight of the Kavadi, and remove the hooks, rods and skewers.

Like yesterdays posting- you can see this devotee also has the piercings through the forhead, cheeks & tongue.
