Photographer's Note
An escalator tunnel leading to the subway trains, fully decked out for a Pepsi promotion. Space in Singapore is a premium and cunsumer goods companies come out with ever more innovative ideas to use up every square inch to promote their products.

Waaa.. very psychadelic picture !
The low speed of exposure increase the movement. Welldone.

Excellent shot - the motion blur of the people really adds to the feel of the picture and, of course, the colours are fabulous! Very eyecatching

it would b funny if you captured some-one enjoying a coca-cola ;-))
I like the angle here and the colors are outstanding... advertisment is getting worse and worse everyday and this is a fine example
good capture

Every square inch you say ? Here even the ceiling has the colours of Pepsi. This photo makes me feel like in a bottle of Pepsi and people (white dressed) are like the bubbles.

Great angle and perspective, John - and the interior lights as well as the neon colors are just perfectly captured. Excellent to have the people on the escalators, including the slightly blurred ones at the bottom left. Well done, I really like this one a lot.

Wow, what a shot! Great PoV, you must have looked funny to them, getting that, probably why there's a smile on the face of the guy coming towards us. Trust Jorrit to think of a gag like that :-)

Love the colours, this photo really stands out against the rest for that reason. Its quite impressive as well to have such strong colours in the shot, yet having the people so sharp at the same time.

Hi John,
I can't believe I missed this shot before.
Great composition, were you sitting the camera on the escalator handrail?
I've been through here sooo many times, and each time I do- I keep telling myself "I need to photograph this". But to this date, I still haven't attempted it.... maybe this weekend.
Well done!

Pepsi.. Coca Cola.. they're everywhere on this planet!
A great picture John. very colourful, arty, lively. Escalators are pretty interesting when you think of it; for a moment, all these different lives are passing by, people staring at eachother, not saying anything. For an instance they meet. One goes up and one goes down. "lives passing by".
Anyway, bla bla bla, nice pic! Like it a lot.
cheers sarah
