Photographer's Note

In many Asian cities the older interesting buildings from a historical point of view are often replaces by new skyscrapers, often with boring architecture. Sometimes they leave a little part untouched like here at banks of the Singapore river.

The houses on the other side are mainly restaurants or shops aiming for tourists while the boats in front seem to be waiting for tourists willing to take a tour.
