Photographer's Note

A recently newfound challenge of mine is photographing little insect in flight. With no macro lens, equipped with only a 200mm zoom lens, the task is even more difficult, wherein lies the challenge.
I am no biologist, hence don't know about the proper name for the butterfly. I just found the combination of bright color (yellow, pink or red, green) with dark background really caught my attention. The fact that a great deal of the butterfly was black made it even more difficult, not to mention the constantly flying insect. Even at 1/800 the motion blur is still there, something new to me. Hopping from one flower to another, I found it only took less than 1 second to suck the nectar dry before it zipped to the next flower. Amazing little thing indeed. As this was my first attempt at the task, there must be some correction which I am hoping you could post here.
Many thanks.
