Photographer's Note
This picture was taken at the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore. These macaws always fascinate me - they have colours and shades that boggles the imagination. This fellow refused to look at me. Perhaps he was shy, pehaps a Canon 400D was below his dignity, perhaps he just didn't like my face. But it gave me a perspective that I was very happy with.

Hi Hemant,
i agree with you about macaws, they are beautiful birds. it a pity about your focusing or your depth of field. i would have been tempted to focus on the birds eye and blurred the back, or increaed the depth and kept the whole of the bird in focus.
good choice in the black background as it shows off the colour really well. chris
