Photographer's Note
Singapore's CBD skyline on a quiet saturday evening. Below would be the Singapore river leading upstream (straignt ahead) to the historic Boat Quay, the old commerce centre.

Beautiful composition John.
I like the point of view, the bridge moving to one side while the city scrapers on the other side.
Very nice details and colors.

John,
This is the most inviting picture of Singapore I've seen in a long time. You've captured the light very well. I especially like the way you made sure the railing is given much importance in the compo.: one feels he/she is actually on the path.

Hello John. The composition of your image is interesting and good. The point of view and the illumination help to obtain a very good landscape of this city. The light in the sky is soft but sufficient for obtain a good background. And the effect of the long time exposure is prefect and permit to obtain a very sharp image. Good work.

Hey John,
Feels like ages since I last saw your shots. Nice angle on the CBD. I work in 6 Battery Road, the third skyscraper in along the river (formerly Standard Chartered Building). The diagonal lines of the bridge really draw the eye into the shot.
Warmest Regards,
- Dan

Hi John, as a traveler going to Singapore soon, I am really getting some great guidance from your gallery. Will definitely have to check out this vantage point. Love the length of this walkway and the reflection of the lights off the railing, as well as the magnificient outline of the skyscrapers!

A brilliant piece of night photography, John. The composition is well built with the strong "funnel" perspective provided by the pedestrian path, and crisp details on the ultra-modern highrises in the back. I also think it is hard to fault this one technically, the exposure work turned out beautiful.

John, spot on composition and exposure. I would have liked to see some human interest in the shot, of course they would be blurred to some extent but it would give the picture a bit more warmth and humanity I think.

Hi John,
You found a really good perspective. Shot at a nice wide angle it seems but the perspectie of the diverging lines here enhances that in my opinion. The long exposure and the fantastic depth are really attractive.

Hi John,
Good framing with the tricky exposure well managed. Plenty of details and nice colors too. TFS!
