Photographer's Note

The impressive Esplanade is a waterside building that contains a concert hall which seats 1,600 and a theatre with a capacity of 2,000 for the performing arts.

The unique architectural design is often compared to either durians or the eyes of a fly, and the locals colloquially call it "The Durians".

Officially opened on October 12, 2002, Esplanade was developed at a cost of about 500 million US dollars.
