Photographer's Note
In Horrendous mid afternoon light on the streets of Singapore's Chinatown. The blazing heat was no match for these spirited Lion Dancers. Troupes were traveling all over the city state to celebrate the last day of Chinese New year

I am surprised this received no comments-- this is a tough scene to shoot in an original way and you've got all the essential elements here-- the lions, the oranges and the street, all nicely anchored by the glance of the foreground man. And that harsh, sunny tropical light isn't the most pleasant to work with, or in for that matter. Nicely done.

Speaking of festivals, he he, I very much like this simple scene that has its own grit - the felow turning bacl to glance at you is key of course. Very nicely balancd shot along the vertical.
Cheers,
Francis
This shot does NOT deserve to be orpphaned like this. I find that outrageous.
