Photographer's Note

The trains in Russia tend to run on time. But the carriages still have wooden seats. And for some reason they often don't run between 10 am an 12 noon. And the rest of the time they are quite full. Especially from St. Petersburg to Pushkin and Pavlovsk where a lot of commuters live. Normally this kind of shot doesn't hold much attraction, but as a travelogue souvenir it is a good reminder of the country and its people. And the contrast to the fancy side of St. Petersburg is striking.
