A black and white version of the Peter and Paul castle and surroundings in St. Petersburg. We passed the place on a boat tour through the city when we had our last visitors before we finally returned to Germany again last June. The boat tour is a very nice thing to do in this city although unfortunately all explanations are only in Russian (unless you charter the whole boat and find a guide that speaks your language). But we still made such a tour three or four times as it is nice to see the places from a different perspective. I especially recommend the tours in the evening before sunset and also the ones which include a passage on the Neva river, not just the canals.
