Photographer's Note
In the Southern part of Ulan Ude's centre there is a place where most mini-buses (Marshrutki) leave to destinations outside the city. We went there in order to catch a bus to Ivolginsk to go to the Datsan and then back again. At the bus stop people sell all kinds of stuff including the famous "kvas" which is being made of bread. As a foreigner one has to get used to the taste but it seems that kvas is pretty popular among the locals.
