Photographer's Note

Submarine D-2 Nadorovolets proudly advance its bow, relegated to a museum, after a full life. It served the navy from 1931 to 1956 and notably sank five German ships between 1941 and 1945. This is one of the first six diesel-powered submersibles built by the Soviets.
