Photographer's Note

Inside a shop in Agidel, Bashkortostan. Shopping for food is interesting in many of these cities. There is one big room and it all looks like the same shop. But there are several counters with several ladies. Each lady sells from her own counter. So you need to make a meal? The first lady will sell you meat and you pay her. The second one will sell you salt, sugar and tea. Another one will sell you vegetables and another one will sell you alcohol.... You can get anything you want and the quality is pretty good.

Agidel is a small modern town in the North of Bashkortostan. Founded in 1980, so everything is new. But the traffic is low and that is like heaven compared to other towns of this size.
