Photographer's Note
Moika Palace was the home of Yusupov family, the most powerful and rich family in Russia after royal family or even more rich.
This palace isn't an interesting building outside with a simple neo-classic aspect, but inside it is amazing, one of the most fabulous interiors I saw in Russia.
The building is famous because Rasputin, a polemic monk (or wizard), was killed in the basement of the building. He had cured the heir of the empire and after that he got the confidence of the Czar and his family and begun to produce interference in the government, some noble men decide something should be done and the young prince Yusupov and some friends decided to save Russia, but it was too late for that.
Rasputin was poisoned with cakes and wine, but he didn't die, after that he was shot, was spanked and even this way he escaped to outside, and after that he was thrown in the frozen waters of Neva river and finally he died.
Here we can see the ceiling of the staircase with a hall whose walls were covered with timber ahead.
................

Hello Jorge,
A good photo of the ceiling with its many tiny and elaborate details of the sculptures and ornaments. They are seen here in nice white and silver tones. Well captured.

Hi Jorge
Excellent upward pov with good sharpness and tonal range. The ornately decorated ceiling is astonishing. The tight framing works well here. Tfs!
