Photographer's Note

I had spent the first hours of the morning chasing those two churches I posted before and after that I went to Hermitage Museum, where I spent most of the whole day. It is one of the largest museums in the world and it is impossible to see everything.
Here we can see one of the most famous rooms of the palace, whose roof is made of glass. In FG you can see a sculpture created by Giuseppe Mazzuoli showing the "Death of Adonis". That big green jar is made of a famous and rare Russian stone named Malachite. The largest painting with white elephants, it is near the hand of Adonis and shows "The Triumph of Manius Dentatus", created by Tiepolo.
As you can see there is a big competition between the artwork exposed inside of each room and the beauty of the room itself.

.................

Ali gastei quase o resto do dia todo.
