One of the emblems of Saint-Petersburg located at the edge of the icy Griboïedev Channel ... in february!
A church built in 1883 in homage to the tsar Alexander II mortally wounded at this place in march 1881 ; this is for this reason which this church is also called Saver-on-the-Blood.
An original architecture (Alfred Parland) in a neo-russian style with multicoloured and gilded bulbs.
