Photographer's Note

There are two fords at the last kilometer before the Fanagoriyskoe Village, when going there from the town of Khadizhensk along a dirt road. The first ford is thru the Psekups River and another one is thru the Chepsi River, a tributary of the Psekups. In the background of the picture, you can see the foot of Fonar Mount (Fonar Gora in Russian, 277.7 m above the sea level), whose name was given to the village. The Russian word “Fonar” means “Latern”. Between the river and the mount you see the railway branch line from Krasnodar to Tuapse thru the town of Goryachiy Klyuch that means Hot Spring.
