Photographer's Note

The water of Cherek Bezengiyskiy (or Cherek Khulamskiy, as a variant of its name) really looks like milk and honey or coffee with milk. In addition, some rocks on its banks seem to be made of pure gold.

The river is one of two head waters of the Cherek River, the second one being the Cherek Balkarskiy River. The Cherek Bezengiyskiy begins from the so-called Bezengy Wall on the Principal (or Water-Shedding) Ridge of the Caucasus Mountains.
