Photographer's Note

After crossing Ossetian-Ingush border I was stopped at the check-point on the very top of Terskiy Range near the Vosnesenskaya Village for severe inspection of my bike, luggage and passport. When the policemen make sure that I have no extremist literature, they offered me a cup of tea and let me go.

After a steep descent from the range I approached to the crossroad where my road MozdokVladikavkaz was crossed with the road MalgobekGrozniy. There was a new village, which had not be plotted in my old map. This was Zyazikov-Yurt, apparently named after Murat Zyazikov, ex-president of Ingushetia, who did a lot for refugees from Chechnya. I believe this village is a former refugee camp.

In the picture you see the mosque of Zyazikov-Yurt Village in Malgobek’s Rayon of the Republic of Ingushetiya.
