Photographer's Note

That was a small river, so small that it looked like a creek but VERY cold. Water in Karelia is often yellow because of its boggy soil, but you still can drink it when boiled. I loved that bright pebbles, sun sparkles and little waves.

Three years passed since I'd taken that shoot but now when it's incredibly hot here in Moscow (+38 Celsius in shadows) I suddenly remembered it.
