Photographer's Note

In Solovki, the nights were really white, it means that the whole night was quite bright (I checked at midnight, one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock in the night). So one evening I went for a walk. near an old wooden chapel, I saw two kids. I quickly took a photo. The kids posed for me. The girl was six years old, the boy was two years older. "Are you going to swim?" - asked the girl. No, I said. Isn't the water too cold? It is warm, said the girl. I was not convinced but I had no plans for swimming anyway. The girl asked: Could I take a photo of you?
I agreed and wanted to show here, but she said: I know well. She took a photo of me, it is the only one I have from this trip. Later I went around the lake. The children were without parents and rode bikes. When they passed by me a few times, they were waving to me. After half an hour, I came to the platform with a beautiful view of the Solovki monastery on the other side of the lake. The children were there too.
