Photographer's Note
Yesterday, I went to San Andres where the garbage dumpsite is. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to get in. It was a blessing in disguise. We went to a nearby housing instead and met some of the most fascinating kids I've ever encountered in my 3 years in photography.
These kids were looking out the window. Notice the curtain...it's all shredded in little pieces. they played around with it just to be noticed.
I am posting the BW version. Which is better?

Clever shot, not only a dynamic busy group portrait, but also arranged in a careful way to give a coherent composition, nice work as usual.

Hi Manuel,
I prefer the version color with the version black and white, primarily because of returned skin which is precisely excellent in the version color, I like much all these nuances.
And still which splendid composition with these various children, filled with simple joys and they are contagious, because I also have the smile now.
It is superb ;)

You have captured so many wonderful expressions here, Manny. I especially like the girl on the right. Perfectly framed. I prefer the coloured version.

Another great, expressive shot Manny. You caught a beautiful smile on every child's face. No matter the conditions they are living in, the happiness they find in life shines through.

Hi Manuel,
What a stunning picture. I think is one of the nicest kid's portrait I've seem here in TE. They seems so happy and spontaineous and this feeling of hide-and-seek as their faces appear in the middle of the curtain is really fantastic. The colors and contrast treatment is beutifull, I notice is kind of a caracteristic of your. I love the metalic bronze color of their skin. The Rosalinda's portrait o your gallery are also stuning.
Best Regards,
Flavia

hello manuel,
Great Capture.. kids are kids... I like the original version... its better than B&W.. normally B&W helps bring out the expressions better but here the color adds color to the joyous expression
