Photographer's Note
This critter is almost a fixture next to the koi pebble pond. He loves to sun himself on the rocks, then slither away in crags between boulders, hunting for insects. At dusk, he'd be heard with his characteristic critter call that sounds like his Filipino name ..."Tu--ko... Tu---ko"

I think this is the same species we have here: Mabuya multifasciata, a common skink in Southeast Asia. They will eat just about anything, from insects to pieces of meat in the trash dump. The species that makes the noise would be Gekko gecko, the infamous Tokay Gecko.
