Photographer's Note

This is a companion to my previous post depicting the duo-toned sunrise. The man in the picture is my uncle who, at 63, is still fit to jog, swim, and do plenty-o-push ups on a daily basis. There was a storm approaching Philippine territories that day, and that is made quite evident by the thickened rain cloud formations in this early morning shot. From June to August, there are a number of cloud surprises hovering above the Philippines, since it is right in the path of typhoons of Pacific origin. Catching clouds "break" at dawn like this can be very rewarding.
