Lowest Breed of Dog, a photo from Cavite, Southern Tagalog

In the Philippines(PH), ASKAL or street dog is the lowest breed of dog. Before dog meat is one of the ordinary food until one day with the help famous Street Dog name SAVER, all the animal cruelty is lessen plus killing of dogs as food. Bec. of this dog it is illegal to kill the dog in the Philippines. and you can go to jail by violating the animal welfare law.

Take this shot 7 meters away and it is good to see the blending of the sun rays plus some shade above the camera produced this shot.

Hehehe nice shot, Ben, but I don't think she's an askal! The clarity/sharpness is very good, as well as the lighting. You really captured her attention, she's looking at you! A great shot! rgds.

I, too, am a dog lover. So I instantly like the picture. I also like the look in the dog's eyes. It says that the dog is comfortable but knows the world around is not as easy.

Good picture. The play of light and shade is nice. Though, the one problem that digital cameras haven't been able to overcome till now is loss of details in highlights--and its pretty evident here. The white patches around the tail and over the head could have been averted if picture was slightly underexposed and then opened up on photoshop.

Otherwise a great picture. Good work!

He seems like a fine looking dog to me!
Your image is well composed, and the dog is staring straight at you... that's good!
Wise to include some of the surroundings... Some spots in direct sunlight are overexposed though
