This is Manticao, in Misamis Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines. That's the main coastal high way linking bukidnon province, Cagayan de Oro, Iligan and other cities. All those little houses are the side are places where one can go to get food or snacks, each stand specializes in a certain type of food, which i thought was convienent since we were staying just across the street at the beach.
