Photographer's Note

This house is located in Lilingayon, Bukidnon. The family seen here were very surprised to see me. I yelled up towards them, asking if I could take their picture. I don't think they understood me, but they just giggled and nodded and smiled. This is an example of how people live outside the cities and in the countries. Their houses may look poor from the outside, but inside, most people would be amazed to see how hospitable they really are.

Hi Theresa,

Wow, another person on TE that's been to Bukidnon province! I was in Miarayon last year with the NGO Cartwheel foundation. This pic brings back memories of speeding down the dirt roads on motorbike and passing numerous houses like this.

It's a good photo for being taken on the move, though the focus could be better, etc -- but it does make me nostalgic!
