Photographer's Note
He was from a distant place
when I saw him first,
with nary a grumble
walkng from side to side,
carrying the cost,
of some,
fifty kilos of rice,
at a price...
~Rosario, La Union~
Pp work: adjusted color at levels and
hues and saturation, filtered the
sky with a cooling filter for added
bluish hues. cropped and framed.
the lousy poem i am to blame.

Hi Raoul,
Nice photo. I like the colour and the idea to show the hard labour of that man. The part devoted to the sky seems to large for me. More on the single track on which the man is walking would have been preferable from my point of view (to insist on the long way with a heavy charge aspect).

The picture is really nice, colurs and sharpness is very good. By the way it must be difficult to carry fifty kilos of rice,

Hi Raul! Your ricefield/farmer series is wonderful....you captured the real life activities during harvest time. I like the colors of the ricefields, very well in contrast against the blue sky. Keep it up! rgds.

Hi Raul,
Life is hard for some unfortunate hard-working people. And this is true for so many Filipinos. And that is why this daily life scene is so true. Good tech details dude. Best regards. Danilo
