A Philippine countryside scenery during summer north of Manila.

I wish i have captured the buffalo completely including its feet.

A pseudo HDR processed from single RAW file. I'm not sure if shooting with 3 RAW files would make a big difference on the final HDR.

Any critique or comment is most welcome

Hi George,

The HDR is an eyecatcher and gives an interesting effect. Personally, I'm not to fond of the artificial colour effect, especially on the cow and the clouds, (I would guess that you would get a more balanced effect with more RAW files, but I'm sure someone else knows a lot more about that than I do).

I agree that it would be nice to include the hooves of the cow, but overall, I think its a nice composition.

composition wise, this one is a perfect A!
the pseudo whatever, from the word alone (meaning "fake"), doesn't belong here, it shys away the natural ambience of this scene.
and yes, i could only wished the carabao's feet
are included. at anyrate your experimentation certainly in one way or another has taught you
something, huh?

Hi George,
Very impressive image! This strange rendition of colour and tone attracted me immediately. I like luminous white clouds and a cow's tender expression a lot.

HI George, the effect of your pseudo brought a good painterly result, almost looking like an Amorsolo painting minus the women vendors and farmers, I think also this is because of the clouds. I would love to see the raw image though. Salamat! Alex
