Photographer's Note

One highlight of travelling to Baguio City, Benguet, Philippines are the number of sharp hairpin turns, blind curves and the sharp ascent of all roads or highways leading to it. From San Fernando, La Union and the other provinces in Northern Luzon, Naguilian Road/ Highway serves as the shortest access to Baguio City. In some areas where the road seems to taper off to a single lane, buses overtake each other. Accidents are common here. When going to Baguio, take any "colorum" or any single, independent, non-airconditioned bus if you have nerves of steel.
