Even if the exterior doesn’t advertise so, the Cabana is considered as a stylish five star resort located on the beach. The place is all build from native materials and blends into the others on the beach in an impeccable manner, while the restaurant we see in front here serves local and international dishes that stand back to nothing much!

I never stayed at the Cabana while in Moalboal, but for some reason I was accepted as I restaurant guest even if the place was closed for non-residents… I can still feel the taste of seafood enjoyed during warm silky tropical nights, while waves from the Tanon Strait lazily were washing the shores of Panagsama…

Moalboal is a town on the South West coast of Cebu, situated some 90 km from Cebu City. The place has gained fame in scuba circles because of the coral reefs around Pescador Island, about 20 minutes banca ride away. The uninhabited island itself guarantees an incredibly wide variety of marine life to view... Whale sharks have been spotted in open waters south of the island, and one is almost certain to see anywhere from 20 to 30 hammerhead sharks around the northeast edge of the reef.
