Hello Gerrit. An astonishing photo. I count seven people on the motorcycle. This is only possible in Southeast Asia. I like the gaiety and naturalness of the people.

it's the India way of life: where only 2 westerners would seat, a complete family (7 persons!) take place. The rules are different from the countries, no helmet is worn!

Hello Gerrit,
In India I have seen advertisements for a "family scooter", but what is this? A clan bike? It's a funny and well timed picture but terrifying at the same time. Smiling faces now, so much misery in case of an accident. In Vietnam at least it's compulsory to wear a helmet.

Une situation semblable serait totalement intolérable pour le Québec. Pas de casques et vraiment trop nombreux sur la moto, mais de tellement beaux sourires . 7 sur la moto, ce n'est pas loin d'un record.

Hi Gerrit,
Seven people on one bike, now that is a skill! If we were to emulate this in other parts of the world, we could end traffic congestion overnight.
A very fine picture, daily life to an astonishing degree and the genuine poses and smiles of the people makes this a photo I cannot help smiling at. Really nicely done.

this is a delightful family portrait. An interesting daily life scene and an amusing situation that has brought the parents and their five children so close together for a photo. it always amazes me when I see scenes like this, a situation that would never be seen in the UK but then I doubt they have as much traffic as us or travel at the same speeds. Beautiful and attractive family shot.

This may look like joy riding but that's how they transport their families. Awesome documentation of the daily life of people, love those smiling faces. Good dof with nice details. Well done, tfs.

for obvious reasons you'd never see such a scene like this in Canada...the police would be called immediately!

but in many places around the world it seems to be an accepted practice - even though its incredibly dangerous...as many family members could lose their lives in full swoop.

it is an amazing scene despite the high risk involved. nice details, we can feel the pride of the parents with their children and at same time the joy to calling attraction of the camera. TFS.
here in southern brazil is prohibited to take people in motorcycles without protection, the law it is the same in the whole country but at north and northeast people doesn't respect it.
