Photographer's Note

In thin clouds halo's around the sun can be seen sometimes. The halo's are caused by the breaking and reflections of the sun light in ice cristals existing in these thin clouds.
These halo's actually are not even rare but can be seen every few days in the Netherlands. The reason people don't see them is that they don't look at the sun.
This halo was seen in Mandaue City/Cebu, Philippines on may 7 at ca 11:40am.
Taken from under a Malunggay tree, a Filipino term for Moringga tree (a milk-tasting leaf).
