Dumaluan Beach, a photo from Bohol, Central Visayas

Photographer's Note

Dumaluan Beach is situated on east coast of the Panglao island, just south of the main island of the Bohol province near Tagbilaran. Bohol is sittuated in the Eastern Vissayas region.

With Alona Beach and the Bohol Beach Club nearby, Dumaluan Beach is a bit more quiet with many locals and not too many tourists.

This photo was taken around 5 pm local time about an hour before sunset. This part of the beach was pretty empty as it was a bit away from a local beach club. The tourist banka's are put to rest for the day while some people still look for seafood. The shallow water continues far out into the sea.

Hi Harko!
Fantastic blue tones in of the sky and the sea and great contrast with the withe boats.Good composition with the nice texture of the foreground and good angle to have this long diagonal.

The light here is superb making the boats stand out so well againt the water and sky. The ripply wet sand in the foreground is pretty too.

Hoi Harko,

Het ziet er daar inderdaad zeer rustig uit, met een groter verwondering hoe dicht de boten tot op het strand naderen.
De hemel laat enkele zich van minst goede kant zien, geen spectaculaire wolken maar wel van die sluiers.
Het grote strand in de voorgrond is precies niet geschikt om met blote voeten te lopen, maar wel netjes in beeld gebracht. Goede samenstelling. Bedankt!

The bluish tone and the sky is simply fantastic. I was on this beach a year ago but didn't know tide can get this low. TFS
