Photographer's Note

Neela Sandh is a series of waterfall in Mouri Syedan, Rawalpindi District. It is almost 40 km (1.25 hrs drive) away from Islamabad. It is surrounded by greenery, tall trees and extensive lush green mountains. There is a network of ponds with short height waterfalls and a suspension bridge about 0.5 km hike.

Many people go there to swim in the ponds, which is considered risky. Therefore locals have developed a business in providing life jackets for the adventurous.

A short hike from the ponds towards Soan river leads one to an old suspension bridge.
