Photographer's Note
This was our home for a week before and after our climb on Ama Dablam Base Camp at 4850m. The Base Camp is situated on a beautiful plataue just below the Mingbo glacier and the South face of Ama Dablam. It is a real suntrap and we enjoyed our days there lazing about and sunbathing. Each morning we would be woken up by the calls of the pairs of Himalayan Partridge that became out camp mates for the time that we were were there.
