Photographer's Note
A half hour passed after we had left the summit of Kala-Pattar where we had enjoyed the view of the highest peak of the planet when this avalanch started and reminded us why people don't walk there every single day. Everest is the summit with the flag on the left. Nuptse (on the right) looks higher from this point of view.

Bonsoir Sergey,

Magnificent scenery and great capture of a unique moment at high altitude. I find the image to be technically flawless. From what altitude did you take the photograph?

Lovely shot, I always love seeing snow against a polarised blue sky, the exposed rocks also add to the texture of the snow.

Whaow ! What a picture: the very right shot at the very right time. Of course, the landscape is breathtaking and you've managed to capture an excellent exposure and superb colors and contrasts, but the main interest of this shot is to present the avalanche. Great view, thanks for sharing this superb post !

Amazing, you've really captured the moment here. That's a lucky shot and what a nice day! from what I've heard it's often cloudy.

Excellent shot, with great sharpness.
You caught the right moment to witness the avalanche, a reminder for the people who approach the mountains so close and the nature's strenght.
A smile
