Photographer's Note
This peak is the Nameless Fangs (5800m) in the Gokyo valley in the Khumbu Himal, Eastern Nepal. I was climbing this peak on my own so there was not an opportunity to get someone in the picture to add some scale and colour which would have improved this shot alot. I was also standing on a knife edge ridge so there wasn't a safe place to take a self portrait either. However I intend to include this shot in a travelogue of my time trekking up the Gokyo valley until I finally reached my destination on top of this peak.

Great colors. Good sharpness... perhaps a bit too much. Composition is just fantastic. Thanks for the note, very instructive.

A bit too sharp for my taste, but then I am the dreamy type. But it is beautiful all the same.
