Photographer's Note

A view of Gokyo on a late October morning. We had actually spent two days in Gokyo and my husband ascended Gokyo Ri while I was struggling with bronchitis, although I recovered. Gokyo is 4750 meters from sea level and most people head there as part of the 3 passes trek, to ascend Gokyo Ri, or to see it's beautiful surrounding lakes. A mid October snow storm had made access very difficult to the 5th & 6th lakes. This picture was taken on our way down to cross over to Chukhung.

Hi Tracey,
geat landscape with these mountains and tis nice light, well comosed your view with snow in the Fg and water, houses are in a good focal point of the photo.
