Descending from the high point on the Helambu Circuit, Langtang Himal, Nepal.

Fresh snow has covered the steep trail that leads down from the high camp at Thare Pati (3490m) but the porters make light work, with their heavy loads, of the slippery conditions.

It's interesting to see the trail that you used to get your excellent landscapes.

This was a hard shot to get with the extreme range from bright to dark. I think you've overexposed (or processed) a bit too much for the detail in the brightest areas to show.

I gave you a Workshop where I dropped the brightness and used a dodge tool to recover detail in the darkest areas.

Was this a 'teahouse trek' or did you camp?
