Photographer's Note

Profile portrait of an ordinary 'Tamang' woman in Lamadida village, Nagarkot on the foothill of Himalaya. Quite a colourful lady gracefully trying to make use of the brief warmth of sun rays to counter the cold morning. It's quite a spectacle gleamed within the small area of my view finder and the temptation to capture was a hard one to resist even though the lighting was rather challenging to handle.

Having said that, it's best to let this image speak for itself

Setting: 300 mm, 1/500 sec, F5.6, ISO Raw 200, 0729 hrs and Polarised to eliminate as much glare as possible
