A young man and his kite against the monsoon sky. Tradtionally kites are flown after the harvest. On a special day everyone has a kite. Any age Nepali (adults too) can get so much enjoyment from the most simple of kites. The monsoon in Nepal is wonderful. Everything is fresh and green, with clouds in the skies. I am walking on a road that leads from the cremation ghats in Pashipatinath to the stupa in Bouda. Walking in Nepal, it is never boring.

It is good photo, Gloria. Even though i find the dirt and garbage laying all around distracting it gives a good idea how it could be down there in india in some places. The women with the blue clothes and the boy in the foreground gives a good contrast to the scene here.
