Photographer's Note
I am walking to my freind's home. I have two young freinds with me. They know where the Karati school is, and that is across from my freind's home. So I do get there. I pass these kids playing with the weights from their parent's shop. (playing store I guessing). Just when I took the picture, someone up in a window above, told them I had a camera. Two children looked up at the speaker. (They are happy with so little compared to what my children had).

nice one, very nice scene, i like poses of those kid and the way the girl is looking at you. those white pieces of paper are too bright - your camera had problems with this contrast - that's the only big flaw in this picture. anyway, it is a very nice shot

What you are saying is absolutly true. Kids in Asia are happy , just to live, it seems. They don't need all the gadgets kids get around here. Lovely faces.

Beautiful capture, Gloria. I love how the left one glances at you, and the other two are looking upward. It really strikes me to see the utterly simple items with which they enjoy playing. A very nice moment, thanks for sharing.

Again very nice capture of facial expressions Gloria.
I like the way the girl on the left looks at you and how the other two look somewhere else.
Well done!

A lovely shot. The girl on the left has an especially appealing expression. I know what you mean about western children.

Lovely expressions! Interesting..the girl on the left is curious about you and the camera althought the other two kids have their attention on the window person! itīs nice to know the way children play in other countries...specially poor countries, but the most important thing is that they look happy!

Most of all I like in a photo skill "to catch" the staff. Your photo for me is good a spontaneity of children. As games of all children on light, whether poor, rich are similar. Subjects find new value and a new life:) Thanks, a good shot, very much

Sharp, well composed, good colours.
But what I mostly like, is the expression on their faces. So different, telling about different feelings, character.
Very well seen and done, Gloria.
I like your Nepal series, keep them coming.

Beautiful dipiction of the children's immediate surroundings. So much detail in such a small space. Too much of a glare from the unknown objects at the bottom of the photo.
