Photographer's Note

Taken from the very top of the Bhudgown hotel in Bhaktapur. The 2 central mts are 'Gur Karpori' (6874m) & 'Dorjelhakpa' (6799m). A step to either the left or right results in certain death on the brick pavement far below, as this is on the 4th floor, & the apex of a steep pyramid shaped adjunct on top of the hotel, reached by a narrow staircase. (Just thought I'd mention that to any potential harsh critics). I liked the 2 red stripes of the Nyatapola pagoda (the tallest in Nepal) & didnt want to crop any of it. I've darkened some of the distracting highlights along the bottom of the frame as a compromise.

Lots of APS work on this image to try & reduce the haze & smog, which is an increasing phenomonon in the Kathmandu Valley. I'm reasonably satisfied with the result.
