Photographer's Note

My series of buildings continues. In fact I've decided not to show any temples or landscapes. This is because I don't have many and the few that I do, i think have been done better by others on Trekearth.

I took this from the roof of the hotel that I stayed at - Pyin O Lyin - just after sunset. I went for the square format because I liked the idea of having the building in the background in the middle (anything else to the left and right is a little dull as well!). At first glance it would look like the horizon isn't straight, but it is! The roofs of the foreground buildings have been replaced many times so are in fact very mishaped. I was tempted to remove the roof in the foreground, but decided to keep it as the next row of buildings looked a little odd and lost by themselves.

I altered the levels, highlights/shadows and even added a yellow filter at 15% and sharpened (maybe a bit too much though).
