Photographer's Note
We leave to discover places
but when we are back
the nicest memories in our hearts
are about the meetings
we made on the way.

"Why the people who live at the borders of the world has within of themself so much joy? And why I, since always, I am attracted from the tropical, the far, the poor and simple countries?
Probably because where I live, up there in the North, every single thing has defined with clarity and placed with order to its place and this ordering it has killed the case, suffocated every possibility of surprise.
This is the reason that every new time I'm leaving towards the great South it's for me like a rebirth, a thirst immediately pleased, a return to innocence."

Hello, Luca,
this one just floored me. Even the thumbnail is spectacular. Everything I can say about it is perfect. Light, contrast, detail, composition, color... ALL perfect. But that smile? Is one of the most genuine, beautiful smiles I've ever seen. Brilliant photograph! Many thanks and great congratulations,
Shelly

Ciao Luca,
landscapes are beautiful but the essence of travelling is meeting people. This is a great document for this thought.

Hi Luca!
That's a picture full of freshness. I like the spontaneous attitude in which you caught the girl. The gesture as the smile are, indeed, so genuine! The clarity is good and the composition is just fine, but above all, that's the note that puzzles me! I can so much recognise my thoughts in Marc Trillard's quote! Specially these days, as I have to choose my next destination and that my heart is torn between : going back to places where I have already been and where I have met people that I would greatly like to meet again, or to go to a completely new destination! (where there is new people to meet, which will extend the list of the places where I want to come back to) ...

Hello Luca,
A wonderful smile and a wonderful capture!!
A 70-300 sigma now! If I remember well, you also worked with a 80-200 2.8 Nikkor. Why the Sigma? Doesn't seem to add that much.
Greetings!
Dennis

HI Luca!
A very big smile for you and all the best for her and her sister..........
and of course for all wonderful people from Myanmar.
I remember very well this afternoon, and I have to smile because our plan was to photograph a farmer at work, before these girls arrived at the well.
A great shot with fine details.
Best regards,Leo
