Photographer's Note

Karaweik Palace Restaurant is a unique restaurant built in the style of royal barge used by Myanmar’s former kings, over the waters of Kandawgyi Lake (also known as Royal Lake), a large park 2km east of Shwedagon Pagoda. The 'barge' is actually concrete and does not float; its two prows are in the shape of the mythical sacred hamsa bird, a goose / swan.
