Photographer's Note

When my canoe floated by this lady one afternoon, I was first caught by the solitude of her work as she was emptying the fish traps that she had placed that morning.
There was really nothing or no one disturbing her work. She was floating from one trap to another in total silence; her gestures and movements well controlled as she pulled up the traps firmly.

I'm always fascinated by people and their daily occupations especially if they are so different from my own.
At that moment to me there was nothing as pure and beautiful as the fisher lady.

I post another view of this lady from further away in a WS.
